The Truth About Minimalism

The concept of minimalism isn’t about who can live with the least amount of stuff. It’s about what each person chooses to live with.

What is the “right” amount of stuff for you? That’s your decision to make.

Minimalism is a lifestyle change. It affords the people living in a home to be able to focus on relationships and experiences.

Minimalism is the lack of clutter. Your level of clutter will be different than my level.

This is why it’s important to always understand that minimalism is a personal journey.

There are no hard-and-fast rules on how many items a minimalist will have.  I can’t tell you how many pieces of jewelry you can have, but I can guide you to help you figure out how many you love and want to keep.

It’s not a quick process and often, people need to do 4 or 5 good edits (purges) before they see the major benefits of minimalism.

Minimalism gives you the opportunity to live life fuller .
